Tutti Frutti Salad

Dessert doesn't always have to be totally sinful.  This G rated Tutti Frutti salad is the perfect finisher for any meal in the dog days of summer.  Nothing is carved in granite with the fruit choices -- as always seasonal is best.  Get creative and feel free to experiment.

Ingredients

1/2 small watermelon
3/4  honeydew
3/4  cantaloupe
1/2 fresh pineapple, cubed
1/2 cup flaked unsweetened coconut
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Preparation

Scoop watermelon, honeydew and cantaloupe into balls with a melon scooper and put in a large serving bowl; add in chopped pineapple, coconut and pecans.  Stir gently to combine.  Refrigerate 1 hour before serving to allow juices to settle slightly.  Remove from fridge 30 minutes prior to serving.
