Paula--your nutritional nazi here. . . a very nice guy named Paleo Dave stopped by yesterday to tell me about their Paleo on the Go company.   Not many "convenience" foods get my stamp of approval  but I was pretty impressed.  Anyone that stops in and feeds me nitrate and nitrite free bacon has got to be good.  I sampled a spinach/bacon vegetable dish, butternut squash soup, paleo shepards pie with cauliflower mashed potatoes,  a pleasantly spicy butternut squash dish loaded with grass fed ground beef (my favorite), and roasted carrots.  Yum.

If you don't like to cook and/or don't have time this is the best alterntive I have seen.  All their meals are home cooked, beef is grass fed, chicken is pastured, fish wild and vegtables are organic and from a local farm.  I don't know of many restaurants in our area that offer this.  Plus, they will conveniently deliver to the box on dry ice and prices are reasonable.

Ordering will be available beginning Monday, April 2 with delivery that Friday.  Just in time for the Swimsuit Challenge.  Meals are 2 per day (lunch/dinner for 1 person or dinner for 2 people) and available in 3 protein portions.  Please check out their website for details www.paleoonthego.com
