April, 2011 Update: After one year, 3 challenges, working out 5 days a week @ gym and 33lbs. I finally realized nutrition DOES matter. My goal was to be in single digit clothes. My new goal is to be ripped. I want to have muscles. I love coming to the gym. Everyone is AWESOME (at giving me crap about what I'm lifting) LOL. Thanks Paula!
March, 2010: Jaguar Cross- Fit is a tough no nonsense fitness center with great fitness coaches.
I needed a jump start to getting healthy and eating well, and this center has proved to be just what I needed. In the beginning I set attainable goals to help me improve my self-esteem, body image, lose weight-and of course to fit in single size clothes, and this fitness center has definitely helped me to get closer to my goals than I have ever been in my adult life.
Don't be fooled, the fitness sessions are tough, and Paula is even tougher! I have accomplished so much in the eight short weeks that I have been a member. I can now do 80 sit ups, box jumps, pushups, and I am even beginning to enjoy lifting weights. Oh, and of course I have lost 18 ½ pounds in 8 weeks!! This program is fantastic for me because I've never been able to stick with a fitness program before.
My ultimate goal was to wear single digit clothes and with the help of tough-ass Paula and the rest of the CrossFit coaches, I know I will reach my goal very soon!!!
