My first impression never changed. When I first walked into Jaguar there were maybe 3-5 people in a class. Once we outgrew our old box I was worried Jaguar would lose the close knit community, however that never happened. With every new member that has joined over the years, they brought a new dynamic to our family and I love how we all become friends with each other.
I hate running. I remember finally running a mile under 10 minutes and I felt like a bad ass. It was also pretty cool once I got kipping pull ups and completed Fran RX for the first time.
I am working on getting back into shape and getting all my lifts back. I was very lucky during my pregnancy to not gain a lot of weight and to work out all the way to my due date. Even though I am back to my pre-pregnancy weight, my body is very different. Currently all of my 1RMs are the weight I would use to warm up and that affects me mentally. I'm working on getting stronger and getting my body back to being able to deadlift 300lbs :)
I have so many memories at Jaguar...I've been here for 6 years! I've met my husband here and made best friends. However, I will never forget the time I was the only one in class and Paula was the coach. She watched ever rep I did and pushed me out of my comfort zone. At the time I couldn't do toes to bar and she held my back during all the reps to make sure I was using my entire core...it was a killer!
