Well, that might be a little bit of an exaggeration but the Turkish Get Up is an excellent multifunctional core exercise.  It helps to build strength, flexibility and stability in muscles of the entire body.  It can be done as a warm up, part of the main workout or as a cooldown.  If done correctly it strengthens all major muscle groups, ligaments and tendons; it develops flexibility all over the body especially the waist, hips and shoulders and gives an enhanced body structure.

Once again, like it’s cousin the overhead squat it is often avoided because it can be a challenging exercise but well worth the effort.  It too should be viewed as one that will benefit you in many ways. . .if it is done regularly
