Are we there yet?

Are we there yet?  Hell no, if we think we are then we’re settling for mediocrity.  Life, including fitness is a journey; one that is meant to be enjoyed and constantly challenged.  Easy doesn’t challenge us, it doesn’t get us anywhere.  When you have done your absolute best, given your all no matter how fast you went or how much you lifted, it moves you further ahead.  It gives you a sense of accomplishment, you are better than you were last week.  And you are not as good as you are going to be next month or next year.  This journey also builds an inner strength and integrity of the self.  This cannot be bought in a bottle of “fat burning” pills or injected and there are no shortcuts.  Its hard work, sweat, determination and a never say die attitude.  So, are you there yet?
