What brought you to CrossFit in the first place? My friend talked me into it when I was training for Underwater Hockey Worlds. I needed to do dry land training.
What was your first impression? How has that changed? I was overwhelmed. It seemed impossible. Now I’m ok with scaling. I’ve realized I’m only competing with me.
What was your first “achievement”? Embracing Olympic lifting. I hated it and it totally intimidated me.
What are you working on now? I’m working on strength and fitness. As well as losing weight.
What’s your favorite Jaguar memory?I don’t have one favorite memory. I love Jaguar every day. It doesn’t matter what a shitty day I’ve had (lots of change in the last year), I come in and forget about it all. The members and coaches cheer you on and it makes the bad melt away.
