Our talented trainers have years of CrossFit experience, plus the knowledge, insight and compassion they need to help you reach your goals. They are dedicated to helping every member achieve their personal best in fitness, performance and improved overall quality of life. Meet the team that will take you there.

  • Paula Jager

    Founding Owner

    Founding Owner Paula Jager has been personally and professionally involved in the fitness industry since 1995. Her competitive background includes obstacle course and women’s fitness competitions. She believes fitness fuels your health and mental well being; it keeps you young, ages you gracefully and prevents age related diseases caused by a sedentary lifestyle and poor nutritional habits.

    Introduced to CrossFit in 2008 it propelled her philosophies to the next level and she hasn’t looked back. it matters not what condition you start in but what your desire to improve is.

    Today, as the founder of CrossFit Jaguar, she specializes in making people the best they can be. “I love seeing the ‘I can’ mentality come into being,” she says. When Paula is not at the box she can be found in her kitchen cooking, writing or at the beach with her husband Rick. Her favorite quote “that which doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.”

  • Kimberly Suarez

    Head Coach/Facility Manager

    Head Coach and Facility Manager Kimberly Suarez has been CrossFitting for an astounding eight years. She’s passionate about two things: coaching and unicorns. “I love it when a person gets what I have been trying to teach them, or when they learn a new skill and you can see their confidence surge,” she says.

    Kimberly became a coach because she saw how CrossFit changed her life, and she wanted to “pay it forward” to others. “I love to laugh and be high energy,” she says. “But, don’t let the smile fool you. I will push you very hard.” Her favorite quote is “Thoughts become things.”

  • Justin Massey

    Coach

    Coach Justin Massey has been CrossFitting for five years. Before finding CrossFit, Justin was the “typical gym rat” going five days a week for the standard chest/tri/back days. “I had a friend that finally convinced me to try out CrossFit, and from the first workout I was hooked,” he says. “It was different. It pushed me more than any other workout ever had. As I grew in the field of CrossFit, I found myself wanting to share my knowledge and journey with others.”

    The thing he loves most about coaching is seeing the passion everyone brings to the table. “No matter what skill level they have, each of them comes in with the mindset to get work done today.” His favorite quote is “Life throws you curves. I’m just glad that I know how to hit that one out of the park.”

  • Antonio Suarez

    Coach/Competitor's Program Director

    Coach and Competitor’s Program Director Antonio Suarez has been CrossFitting for more than six years and is passionate about designing and implementing programming for his athletes. “I love finding new ways to push the limits without sacrificing health and wellness at any time,” he says. “CrossFit is a lifelong program, and I’m passionate about finding that balance where we are constantly improving but in a safe, and controlled setting.”

    Antonio was introduced to CrossFit by Kimberly and after a couple classes he was hooked. “CrossFit allowed me to express myself athletically in a way no other program had,” he says. “Coaching was a natural progression, as I wanted to share everything I had learned with the community.”

  • Kevin Fischer

    Coach

    Coach Kevin Fischer has been CrossFitting for an impressive eight years, and he makes sure his members use proper form in the gym. Helping members create a healthier lifestyle and feel good about the body they were given is the thing he’s most passionate about in the gym. “I love seeing members leave their comfort zone,” he says.

    Kevin found CrossFit when he was looking for something more to go with his traditional weightlifting and trail running. “I consumed myself in knowing as much as I could about CrossFit and helped anyone who would listen,” he says. Kevin and his wife bring their son to the gym as often as possible “so he can live an active lifestyle and be around positive role models.”

  • John Mason

    Coach

    Coach John Mason has been CrossFitting since 2011 and is passionate about Olympic Weightlifting – “the elegance of the snatch and the raw power of the clean and jerk.” He’s always been an athlete, and after 25 years in healthcare, his passions for helping people and fitness combined into a CrossFit coaching career. “It’s that desire to continue to help people become better versions of themselves,” he says. “I love being in the box with people who are constantly searching for different ways to get better.”

  • Brea Danae

    Coach

    Coach Brea Danae is passionate about fitness and nutrition as a sustainable lifestyle. She’s always been an athlete, playing basketball all her life and well as participating in martial arts, long distance running, body building, and more. “I’ve dabbled in a little bit of everything but didn’t find my true passion until CrossFit,” she says. “My biggest accomplishment currently is a successful recovery from ACL/meniscus surgery and being able to win a local competition with my husband 11 months after surgery.”

    Brea loves seeing people figure out that they are stronger than they thought. “Looking at an athlete, having an idea of their athletic potential, and trying to make them understand what they can achieve can be very difficult, but I love that moment when things click!” she says.

  • Pete Lacko

    Coach

    Coach Pete Lacko was a competitive hockey player, a football player and a track athlete before finding CrossFit four years ago. He has worked as a personal trainer, and after a couple years of CrossFitting, the opportunity to mix his experience as a trainer with his love for CrossFit arose, and the rest is history.

    Today, Pete specializes in lifting heavy things and helping others do the same. “I love watching members accomplish things that they thought would never happen,” he says. His favorite quotes are “Arnold is numero uno” and “Rome wasn’t built in a day.”

  • Nicky Lacko

    Coach

    Coach Nicky Lacko has been CrossFitting for more than six years and specializes in gymnastics. She was a level 10 gymnast by age 13 and went on to compete and coach in a competitive cheerleading program. She also cheered at Florida State University.

    Nicky believes fitness is essential to everyone’s well-being. “Not everyone has to be a CrossFit Games athlete or even a CrossFitter at all, but general movement on a daily basis improves so many aspects of your life,” she says. Her favorite thing about coaching is helping members push past fear and doubt to realize what they are truly capable of. “You see that fire light, and you can tell it’s going to grow from there.”
